Fix Habit - Last updated: July 13, 2026
Overview
Fix Habit is a self-improvement app for tracking habits, urges, check-ins, streaks, reflections, rescue games, and progress. This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and what choices you have.
Fix Habit is designed to keep your personal habit data on your device. We do not operate a user account system and we do not sell your personal information.
Information Stored on Your Device
The app may store the following information locally on your device:
- Streak history, XP, achievements, and rescue game progress.
- Daily check-ins, mood or urge levels, trigger tags, and reflection notes you enter.
- Panic button sessions, selected interventions, outcomes, and timestamps.
- Journal or trigger log entries that you choose to save.
- Notification preferences, biometric lock preference, and other app settings.
This data is used to show your progress, provide analytics inside the app, schedule reminders, and personalize your habit recovery experience.
Advertising
Fix Habit uses Google AdMob to show ads, including banner, native, interstitial, and app-open ads. Google and its partners may collect or receive device information, advertising identifiers, app interaction information, approximate location derived from network data, and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization depending on your device settings and consent choices.
You can learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services at Google's partner sites policy and Google's privacy policy.
Biometric Lock
If you enable biometric lock, authentication is handled by your device operating system. Fix Habit does not receive, store, or transmit your fingerprint, face data, or other biometric identifiers.
Notifications and Reminders
Fix Habit can schedule local notifications for reminders, reflections, and risk-window alerts. These notifications are generated on your device. The app uses notification, boot-completed, wake-lock, and alarm permissions so reminders can appear at the times you choose.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not upload your journal, check-in, panic session, or streak data to our own servers in the current version of the app.
Ad-related data may be shared with Google AdMob and its advertising partners as described in the Advertising section. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Your Choices
- You can change notification and biometric settings inside the app.
- You can delete your local app data using the delete/reset option in Settings.
- You can control ad personalization through your Android device settings and Google account settings.
- You can uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from your device, subject to Android backup behavior.
Security
We use local device storage and platform security features to help protect your data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Fix Habit is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can help address it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the app changes or when legal, platform, or operational requirements change. The updated version will show a new "Last updated" date.
